TeamWork Mentoring Program

TeamWork has developed a Mentoring Program for high school juniors and seniors who participate in the nationwide AVID college bound teaching and learning program. These students, who are recommended by their AVID teachers, qualify to receive college scholarships from TeamWork in partnership with Project STARS, a Florida prepaid scholarship program. This is an award of 60 credit hours to attend a Florida college, or 30 credit hours to attend a Florida university.

11 of these mentored scholarships, known as TeamWork/STARS Scholarships, were awarded in 2022. 17 will be awarded at our Annual Awards Scholarship Luncheon on March 18, 2023

Mentors are professionally trained volunteers who work with these selected students in their last two years of high school. Mentors act as resources who help the students achieve the realization of receiving these coveted scholarships.
